Job Description: We are looking for an experienced cashier to join our team in the retail store. You will be responsible for directly dealing with customers, managing financial operations, and working within a team to ensure smooth workflow. This role requires prior experience in a retail environment and a good understanding of point of sale (POS) systems and inventory management. Responsibilities: • Deal with customers and provide excellent customer service. • Manage payment processes through point of sale (POS) systems. • Conduct financial operations including cash payments, cards, and returns. • Maintain the accuracy of accounts and financial amounts. • Monitor inventory and inform the manager of any shortage or surplus in products. • Verify prices and promotional offers and ensure that prices are updated in the system. • Provide support in organizing and arranging products in the store. • Assist in periodic inventory audits. Requirements: • Previous experience working as a cashier in a retail store or similar environment. • Good knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems and inventory management. • Ability to handle numbers accurately and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally. • Ability to work under pressure and achieve daily objectives. • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. • It is preferable for the applicant to have received training in inventory management or customer service.
