Cashier

A cashier is required to work in a prestigious store/institution, possessing high skills in customer service and cash handling. The candidate must be accurate in work, presentable, and have at least one year of previous experience in the same field. Main tasks: • Receiving customer payments in cash or via credit cards • Issuing invoices and accurately recording transactions in the point of sale system • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cashier area • Conducting cash register opening and closing operations and preparing daily reports • Handling customer inquiries in a professional and tactful manner • Assisting in inventory counting when needed • Maintaining safety and hygiene standards in the workplace

Responsibilities: • Deal with customers and provide excellent customer service. • Manage payment processes through point of sale (POS) systems. • Conduct financial operations including cash payments, cards, and returns. • Maintain the accuracy of accounts and financial amounts. • Monitor inventory and inform the manager of any shortage or surplus in products. • Verify prices and promotional offers and ensure that prices are updated in the system. • Provide support in organizing and arranging products in the store. • Assist in periodic inventory audits. Requirements: • Previous experience working as a cashier in a retail store or similar environment. • Good knowledge of point of sale (POS) systems and inventory management. • Ability to handle numbers accurately and attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with customers professionally. • Ability to work under pressure and achieve daily objectives. • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment. • It is preferable for the applicant to have received training in inventory management or customer service.
