Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner and assist them with their orders.
• Accurately process customer orders, including taking orders, entering them into the POS system, and ensuring that the correct items are prepared and served.
• Handle cash, credit card, and other types of payments, and provide accurate change as required.
• Maintain accurate cash and credit card transactions records and ensure that the cash register is balanced at the end of each shift.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
• Answer customer questions and resolve any issues or complaints in a polite and professional manner.
• Assist with restocking inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Food handlers permit or willingness to obtain one.

The position of Customer Accounting is a vital part of Al-Basim Trading Company, where it participates in managing financial operations and contributes to enhancing customer experience. The role includes counting financial amounts, receiving payments, and updating price lists.

Responsibilities:

• Counting financial amounts and recording them in the cash register at the beginning of the shift.
• Receiving payments in cash or by credit card.
• Continuously updating price lists and calculating the prices of goods or services.
• Reconciling incoming cash with total sales at the end of the shift.
• Meeting customer requests and making necessary adjustments to purchase lists.

Requirements:

• Practical experience of no less than one year.
• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma.
• Advanced skills in cash balancing and customer service.
• Proficiency in languages: English, Turkish, Hindi, and Urdu.
