We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our finance team at Qawim for Professional Consulting. In this role, you will manage daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support compliance with local tax laws, particularly VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our finance team at Qawim for Professional Consulting. In this role, you will manage daily accounting tasks, ensure accurate financial record-keeping, and support compliance with local tax laws, particularly VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and post journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial reports.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with Saudi tax laws.
- Maintain and organize accounting documents and records.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial data accuracy.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional certifications are a plus (SOCPA, CMA, VAT, ACCA, etc.).
- At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience (internship/co-op experience is acceptable for recent graduates).
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and general accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
