Key Responsibilities
- Curate and manage library collections by selecting, acquiring, cataloging, and preserving materials that reflect the community's cultural and informational needs.
- Develop, implement, and assess engaging library programs and services that promote literacy, lifelong learning, and cultural enrichment.
- Innovate and integrate technology solutions into library services, including the development of digital literacy workshops and online resources.
- Foster partnerships with local organizations, schools, and artists to enhance library offerings.
- Provide expert reference and research assistance to patrons.
- Monitor library trends and adapt services to ensure relevance and engagement.
- Serve as an advocate for library services.
- Train, mentor, and supervise library staff and volunteers.
- Ensure adherence to library policies and maintain a professional atmosphere.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional library experience.
- Proven track record in managing diverse collections.

- Proficiency in library management systems.
