- Patient Reception and Check-In:
- Greet patients and visitors courteously.
- Verify patient information and complete check-in procedures.
- Inform patients of waiting times and provide necessary information.
- Appointment Scheduling:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Manage the appointment calendar.
- Notify patients of any changes to their appointments.
- Patient Inquiries and Communication:
- Handle incoming calls and respond to inquiries.
- Provide information about services and policies.
- Direct patients to appropriate departments.
- Record Management:
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Process registration forms and update information.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
- Billing and Payments:
- Collect payments and issue receipts.
- Assist patients with billing inquiries.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with filing, emails, and communication.
- Support the Admin Manager with projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Quality and Compliance:
- Adhere to healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols.
- Relevant educational degree, with healthcare administration qualifications a plus.
- 1 to 2 years of experience as a receptionist or in customer service.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in office software and patient management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Experience with scheduling systems and electronic health records.
- Knowledge of health insurance processes and regulations.
- Environment: Work is performed in a clinic setting, primarily at the reception desk.
- Hours: Full-time position with varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
