Job Purpose:To safely operate company trucks for transporting goods and materials between designated locations, ensuring timely delivery, vehicle upkeep, and compliance with traffic and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate company-assigned trucks to deliver goods to customers, warehouses, or other locations as per schedule.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and mileage records.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.
- Assist with documentation related to deliveries and shipments.
- Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to dispatch as needed.
- Adhere to schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers.
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid truck driving license (Heavy Vehicle License in Saudi Arabia).
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
- Clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
- Ability to read maps and follow GPS navigation.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
