Logistics Services Manager

We are looking for an experienced Logistics Services Manager in the field of land transport and customs clearance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing land transport operations and coordinating customs clearance activities to ensure shipments arrive safely and on time.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop effective strategies for land transport to ensure efficiency and cost reduction.
• Coordinate with transport companies and truck drivers to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise customs clearance procedures and ensure compliance with local and international customs regulations.
• Prepare customs documents and follow up on transactions to ensure shipments are released without delay.
• Monitor land transport performance and prepare reports on operational efficiency and shipping costs.
• Deal with customs authorities and governmental bodies to resolve any issues that may arise during clearance.
• Manage the transport and clearance team and provide the necessary guidance and support.
• Implement safety and quality standards at all stages of land transport.
• Develop contingency plans to deal with accidents or unforeseen delays.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation and Logistics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in land transport and customs clearance.
• In-depth knowledge of customs procedures and laws related to land transport.
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage transport teams and supervisors.
• The ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (verbal and written).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
