Role Overview
The Senior Finance Manager will oversee all accounting and financial operations and manage the budget for joint venture projects. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, advanced knowledge of accounting principles and financial management, and ensuring the integrity of financial information for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Manage the budget for joint venture projects, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on expenses and revenue.
  • Coordinate with joint venture partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting and communication of financial information.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and implement financial controls and processes to mitigate risk and ensure accuracy of financial data.
  • Manage and develop accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support for business decisions.

Strategy Development and Planning
  • Act as a commercially focused accountant who manages the fast-paced dynamic of a scale-up, ensuring proper fact-based decision-making and integrity of numbers while providing required pushback to senior staff.
  • Partner with multi-billion SAR development projects involving complex partnership structures for sustainable food production.
  • Support the CFO Foods in developing the department strategy and related strategic plans.
  • Monitor and measure the implementation of the departmental strategy and plans to support NEOM Food’s financial and accounting perspectives.

Financial Statements and Reports Development
  • Validate and oversee financial reporting managed by NEOM Global Business Services on behalf of NEOM Food.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting systems that meet IFRS principles and NEOM policies.
  • Ensure accurate recording of revenues, expenses, and investments while reconciling accounts and monitoring performance.
  • Prepare critical financial reports and ad-hoc analysis for stakeholders, ensuring governance and compliance.

Accounting Systems Management
  • Oversee central accounts activities to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Manage fixed assets accounting and ensure compliance with contractual terms and international standards.
  • Collaborate with shared services on accounting, tax, and treasury matters.

Document Management and Control
  • Manage documentation for accounting records and activities to ensure completeness and accuracy.

People Management
  • Build and lead a team, ensuring efficient operations aligned with policies.
  • Develop team members through leadership, guidance, and training to achieve objectives effectively.

Culture and Values
