The Role:
As a Purchasing Manager, you will lead strategic procurement operations focusing on cost-effective, high-quality goods and services. You’ll manage vendor relationships while ensuring compliance, sustainability, and supply chain resilience. Your key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to minimize costs and mitigate risks.
- Collaborating with finance to manage the purchasing budget.
- Conducting quality control audits and managing supplier relationships.
- Supervising receiving, documentation, storage, and issue procedures.
- Assisting in inventory management and ensuring compliance with HACCP policies.
Key Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 2 years in leadership roles.
- Experience with ERP systems (*, SAP) and sustainable procurement strategies.
