We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the inventory and storage of materials and supplies for our Ready-Mix Concrete operations. The Storekeeper will play a key role in ensuring accurate records and supporting the smooth flow of operations in the warehouse.

We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the inventory and storage of materials and supplies for our Ready-Mix Concrete operations. The Storekeeper will play a key role in ensuring accurate records and supporting the smooth flow of operations in the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, ensuring accurate quantities and quality checks for all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock records and ensure all materials are stored properly, categorized, and easily accessible.
- Material Handling: Use forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment to move materials around the warehouse safely and efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely issuance of materials to the production and dispatch departments based on operational requirements.
- Inventory Audits: Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with stock records, ensuring any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the materials meet the company’s quality standards and handle returns or damaged goods according to company procedures.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to all safety guidelines and practices in the warehouse, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and stored. Prepare reports for inventory levels, material usage, and stock movements.
- Coordination: Work closely with the procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available when required.
- Stock Replenishment: Monitor stock levels and inform the procurement team of any required material restocking.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse to meet safety and operational standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 23 years experience in inventory management or warehouse operations, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or ready-mix concrete industry.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Certification in warehouse management or inventory control is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to use inventory management systems and tools.
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices for warehouse operations.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment (*, forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling materials and maintaining records.
