Join InterContinental as a Chief Accountant!

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to manage our accounting operations and contribute to the financial integrity of our hotel in Taif. As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with financial regulations while maintaining high accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in control of inventory, credit and collection, disbursements, deposits, and remittances.
  • Document and establish controls for all revenues and expenses while protecting assets.
  • Maintain up-to-date account analysis and reconciliation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial and operational information.
  • Identify training needs and conduct training sessions for accounting staff.
  • Safeguard all contracts, leases, and financial records.
  • Monitor capital expenditures for compliance with approvals.
  • Implement and maintain acceptable accounting practices per IHC policy.
  • Manage all accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Lead the accounting team and mentor junior staff.
  • Handle audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (*, PeopleSoft, Opera).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
