About the Role

SLS The Red Sea is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join its team in Umluj, Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on delivering seamless audio-visual support across the resort's diverse events and guest experiences.

Role Purpose

The Audio Visual Technician plays a key role in ensuring all technical aspects of events, meetings, entertainment venues, and guest interactions reflect SLS standards and operational excellence. This involves the comprehensive management of AV systems to guarantee smooth operations and unforgettable experiences for all resort functions.

Core Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and dismantle audio-visual equipment for various events, including meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, and special functions.
• Operate sound, lighting, projection, and video systems during live events to ensure professional execution.
• Provide professional on-site technical support for VIP guests, executive meetings, and high-profile events.
• Support AV systems in conference rooms, boardrooms, meeting spaces, entertainment venues, digital displays, and in-room setups across the resort.
• Respond promptly to AV service requests to minimize disruption to guest experiences and resort operations.

Technical Operations and Coordination

• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections of all AV equipment to ensure reliability and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, LED screens, displays, and other AV systems.
• Maintain strong knowledge of AV equipment, event requirements, technical setups, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Events, Banquets, Entertainment, and IT teams to ensure effective delivery of all technical requirements.
• Ensure all AV equipment is properly maintained, stored, and handled in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and resort standards.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, maintenance activities, repairs, and service requirements.
• Assist with the installation, testing, and commissioning of new audio-visual equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with external AV suppliers and contractors when required, ensuring work adheres to SLS standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment while following all health, safety, and operational procedures.
