AI Engineer

About the Role

Saudi Air Navigation Services is seeking an AI Engineer to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on implementing architectural design, algorithmic engineering, and the deployment of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning systems to support R&D initiatives and solutions.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to bridge the gap between theoretical data science prototypes and live operational systems. The AI Engineer will be responsible for harnessing operational and maintenance data to design and develop operationally valid, production-grade AI solutions. This involves ensuring compliance with aviation-specific regulatory and safety-critical constraints throughout the concept development phase, within defined KPIs, approved budgets, and established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement architectural designs for AI and ML systems.
• Perform algorithmic engineering for AI and ML solutions.
• Deploy Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning systems to support R&D initiatives.
• Utilize operational and maintenance data to design and develop production-grade AI solutions.
• Ensure AI solutions are operationally valid and meet production standards.
• Comply with aviation-specific regulatory and safety-critical constraints during concept development.
• Operate within defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and approved budgets.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures throughout all project phases.
