AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

Envision Employment Solutions is seeking an AI/ML Engineer for one of its partners, an IT Services and IT Consulting company. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The AI/ML Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise AI and machine learning solutions across a program that includes several parallel use cases.

Role Context

The work involves developing conversational assistants, implementing retrieval and grounding techniques, enhancing analytical capabilities, designing agent workflows, and establishing validation controls to ensure the accuracy and trustworthiness of AI-generated responses. This role requires a focus on practical delivery and integration within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build AI assistants across various parallel use cases within the program.
• Implement conversational querying, retrieval, grounding, evidence presentation, and agent orchestration.
• Integrate AI components with approved enterprise data platforms, APIs, and knowledge sources.
• Develop controls to validate generated answers and minimize unsupported responses.
• Contribute to shared AI platform components and reusable services.
• Support testing, benchmarking, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), controlled deployment, technical documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, architects, and business subject matter experts.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with hands-on delivery of generative AI, machine learning, or conversational AI solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python, coupled with experience in APIs, structured data, retrieval techniques, and model evaluation.
• Experience with Azure AI and data services, or equivalent enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of security, access control, logging, monitoring, and responsible AI requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks, ADLS, Azure AI services, or Azure AI Foundry.
• Familiarity with natural language querying over structured data.
• Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), agent orchestration, evidence binding, and LLM evaluation.
• Experience with production deployment of enterprise AI solutions.
