Auto Mechanic

About the Role

United Motors Group is seeking a skilled Auto Mechanic to join its automotive dealership workshop. This is a full-time position for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and dealership procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventive services.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and other vehicle components.
• Execute oil changes, filter replacements, brake services, and other scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and identify necessary repairs.
• Adhere to manufacturer repair procedures and technical specifications.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and within the stipulated timeframes.
• Utilize workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems correctly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Complete repair orders and report any additional vehicle issues to the Service Advisor.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors, technicians, and workshop management to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Comply with dealership safety policies and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Hands-on experience gained within an automotive workshop or dealership setting.
• Good knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems.

Work Environment

This role operates within an automotive dealership workshop, requiring adherence to established safety and quality protocols. The Auto Mechanic will work collaboratively with a team of service advisors and technicians to deliver high-quality vehicle maintenance and repair services.
