The Role of QA Technician

Almarai is seeking a QA Technician to join its team. This full-time role involves coordinating all quality-related aspects within Poultry Operations, under the guidance of the SQAM/DQAM (Poultry). The QA Technician will support the Quality team within the plant to effectively manage all facets of quality control and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all quality aspects within Poultry Operations.
• Assist the Quality team in managing quality processes effectively.
• Conduct Quality awareness programs independently.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Services or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Quality role within a Meat Processing Plant, preferably poultry.
• Experience at a supervisory level.
• Conversant with best practice Quality standards, such as those outlined by APD and ISO 22000:2005.
• Good working knowledge of Quality standards.
• Proficiency in systems and audits.

Required Skills

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multinational workforce.
