General Cashier (Saudi only)

About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking a General Cashier to join their team. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals only and requires 0-1 years of experience. The role involves meticulous financial record-keeping and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify figures, postings, and documents for accuracy in entry, mathematics, and coding.
• Organize, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in adherence to company policies.
• Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
• Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, or computers.
• Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
• Conduct periodic audits of cashier banks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain, distribute, and record petty cash, cashier banks, and contracts.
• Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all cash variances in line with SOPs.
• Act as a liaison between the property and armored car service or primary banking institution.
• Participate in internal, external, and regulatory audit processes, ensuring compliance with SOPs.

• Ensure coworkers understand their tasks.
