Kids Club Attendant

About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Kids Club Attendant to serve as a key resource for all recreation activities facilitated on the property in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves providing information to guests about available recreation facilities, encouraging participation in activities, and ensuring a fun and safe environment for all guests. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide information to guests regarding recreation facilities, including pools, beach, entertainment zones, fitness centers, and child activity centers.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere while enforcing facility rules and regulations for guest safety.
• Observe activity in recreational facilities and respond appropriately to emergencies in accordance with local operating procedures.
• Provide cashier services for point-of-sale transactions within recreation facilities.
• Assist with group activities and events during private functions hosted within recreation facilities.
• Identify situations where guests may not safely participate in an activity and inform supervisors.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.

Operational Duties and Guest Services

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Process payments for rentals, activities, facility usage, or retail sales.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 25 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, stairs, and ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
