About the Role

Barq is seeking a Marketing Associate to contribute to brand growth, content creation, and social media management. This is a full-time position focused on developing and executing marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate creative marketing and content ideas.
• Assist in building and executing content strategies.
• Manage and regularly post on social media channels.
• Create short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Record videos and appear on camera as required.
• Perform basic video editing, including captions, cuts, and formatting.
• Write social media copy, captions, and content hooks.
• Research trends, competitors, and new content opportunities.
• Support experimentation with various marketing campaigns and ideas.
• Track basic content performance and identify effective strategies.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated creative thinking abilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• Energetic, confident, and outgoing personality.
• Comfortable with recording videos and speaking on camera.
• Basic video editing skills (*, CapCut or similar tools).
• Good understanding of social media platform strategy and current content trends.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to experiment, learn quickly, and take ownership of tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience managing social media pages.
• Experience creating Reels, Shorts, or other short-form content.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing, Meta Ads, or content analytics.
• Interest in technology, AI, startups, or software businesses.
