About the Role

Dallah Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team. This full-time role involves treating patients with disabilities, illnesses, or injuries through the therapeutic use of daily activities and specialized equipment. The Occupational Therapist will focus on helping patients improve, regain, and develop essential skills for daily life and work, providing both long-term and acute patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services through home visits to patients.
• Prepare medical bags daily to meet patient needs.
• Ensure timely arrival for scheduled patient visits.
• Sterilize equipment and tools before and after each therapy session.
• Conduct physical and psychological assessments of patients and develop or follow established treatment plans.
• Assess patients' home and work environments to determine necessary adjustments.
• Advise on adaptive equipment to assist patients with daily activities.
• Develop physical rehabilitation programs to help patients regain lost skills.
• Prepare patients for a successful return to work.
• Evaluate the results and progress of occupational therapy interventions on patients.
• Maintain professional knowledge and technical proficiency to provide optimal treatment programs.
• Contribute to the department’s continuing medical education program.
• Evaluate patient conditions regarding physical and basic mental health.
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive, individualized care plans.
• Implement departmental policies, procedures, and relevant local and international standards.
• Participate in home care Safety Management & Risk Management Programs.
• Report incidents actively and participate in incident reviews when required.
• Educate patients and families to enhance understanding and participation in care decisions.
• Perform other duties within professional knowledge and skills as directed by the direct manager.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Candidates should possess 1-2 years of related experience.

Experience Level

This role is suitable for professionals with 0-1 years of experience in occupational therapy, demonstrating a foundational understanding and practical application of therapeutic techniques.
