What’s the opportunity?
The Senior Accountant and Lead will be pivotal in establishing a managed services function to enhance our client's financial and reporting capacity. You will work directly with key customers for a period of at least two years, leading financial management and engagement services.

Key Accountabilities & Outcomes

• Managed Services Leadership and Delivery:
  • Act as the primary contact for senior management and project leaders.
  • Implement an operating model for efficient management and governance.
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting and pricing.
  • Ensure timely completion of the managed services implementation.
• Financial Management & System Implementation:
  • Transform financial operations to align with activity-based funding.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to enhance systems and processes.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication:
  • Define project requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main point of contact throughout the implementation phase.
• Training and Post-Implementation Support:
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support after implementation.
  • Gather feedback and identify opportunities for future improvements.

About You:
To excel in this role, you must be a Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of experience in hospital finance management. A degree in a relevant field and project management certification would be advantageous. Please demonstrate excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and experience with implementation methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
