About the Role

EDITION is seeking a Server to join our team. This full-time role focuses on creating a memorable dining experience for guests, extending beyond basic food service to encompass comprehensive guest interaction and support. The Server will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and operational efficiency.

Role Responsibilities

The Server will take initiative in delivering a range of services to ensure guest satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Interacting with and serving guests throughout their dining experience.
• Cleaning work areas and maintaining supplies.
• Upholding quality standards and ensuring professional appearance and communication.
• Ensuring a safe workplace and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Physical Demands of the Position

This role requires physical activity and mobility to effectively serve guests and manage the dining area. Responsibilities include standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving over various surfaces. The Server will also need to read and visually verify information, and handle objects. This involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, are also required.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for the Server position should meet the following criteria:

• High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required for this role.
