The Role: Spa Attendant

The Spa Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming spa environment for all guests. This full-time position involves comprehensive management of spa cleanliness, efficient restocking of supplies, and direct assistance to guests. The role also includes handling basic inquiries and bookings, while providing essential support to spa therapists and the reception team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, offer refreshments, conduct spa tours, answer questions, and assist with changing into robes.
• Ensure all spa areas, including locker rooms, relaxation lounges, and treatment rooms, are spotless, maintaining floors, mirrors, and furniture; manage laundry operations.
• Restock towels, water, amenities, and retail products, coordinating with the spa team for operational efficiency.
• Handle basic phone inquiries, manage simple bookings or rescheduling requests, and process payments.
• Assist with stock control for linens, consumables, and retail items within the spa.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience in a 5-star hospitality or spa environment is required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy items, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.
• A basic understanding of spa treatments and procedures is beneficial.
• Demonstrated positive, friendly demeanor and a collaborative team player attitude.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety procedures.
