The Role of Static Equipment Inspector
SGS is seeking a Static Equipment Inspector for a full-time position in Saudi Arabia. This role involves ensuring compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications through various inspection and monitoring activities. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform "Hold", "Witness", and "Surveillance" inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure adherence to SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
- Inspect materials and equipment to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper handling, storage, and protection at facilities and construction sites.
- Monitor Contractor's Quality Systems, records, and Quality Personnel for compliance with established requirements.
- Review and evaluate the Contractor's Quality document submittals.
- Witness on-site and off-site material and installation tests to confirm compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
- Accurately record all controversial and non-complying construction practices, materials, and equipment, reporting potential problems to the supervisor for timely resolution.
- Prepare inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs), and Equipment Deficiency Reports (EDRs) as required.
- Execute work as planned and scheduled with a professional approach, reporting findings in the specified format.

- Maintain a commitment to safety during all inspection activities and advise colleagues to adhere to safety protocols.
- Ensure confidentiality requirements are met in every activity throughout the service period.
- Operate according to the highest ethical standards, in line with the SGS Statement of Integrity.
Experience Requirements
Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong understanding of static equipment inspection and compliance procedures.
