Manager Finance at PaxOcean in Al Jubail

PaxOcean is seeking a Manager Finance to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time role is central to overseeing the company's end-to-end finance operations, ensuring robust financial control, compliance, and strategic alignment with business objectives.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Manager Finance will lead critical financial functions including cash flow and liquidity management, credit risk assessment, costing accuracy, fixed asset management, and daily sales outstanding. A key focus of this position is to drive continuous process improvements, particularly within accounts payable and payment systems. The role also encompasses leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and comprehensive financial reporting, including detailed variance analysis and project/CAPEX monitoring. Ensuring compliance with all tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements, including ZATCA, is paramount, as is acting as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and banks. This position requires close collaboration with other departments to support financial strategy and mitigate risks.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily finance operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives, policies, and budgets.
  • Manage cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity while mitigating financial and interest risks.
  • Perform credit risk analysis on customers and ensure targeted daily sales outstanding are met.
  • Lead initiatives to optimize financial processes, especially in accounts payable and payments.
  • Oversee the costing function to ensure report accuracy, prompt clearance of delta costs, and analysis of unusual contribution margins.
  • Manage and maintain the fixed asset register, verifying proper approval for capital expenditure additions.
  • Lead the preparation, monitoring, and management of annual budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor actual expenditures against approved budgets, including detailed tracking of project/CAPEX costs and variance analysis.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including forecasts and variance analysis comparing actual results against budgeted figures.
  • Review and submit quarterly VAT filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee annual tax compliance activities, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with ZATCA laws and regulations.
  • Act as the key liaison with external auditors, tax agents, and banks.
  • Partner with other departments to develop financial strategies and identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Support other ad-hoc finance-related projects as required.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years in an operational finance role.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team of at least 5 staff.
