About the Role

ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al-Jubail is seeking a Manager Industrial Projects to lead low-to-medium complexity projects focused on enhancing plant efficiency, quality, and safety. This full-time role is based in Al Jubail, Eastern Region, and is crucial for ensuring continuous improvement initiatives are executed within defined scope, timeline, and budget. The Project Manager will collaborate closely with site teams and senior Project Managers to implement standardized methods and digital tools on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the daily progress of project tasks, ensuring all internal milestones are met.
• Support Senior Project Managers by managing specific work packages within major overhauls or new installations.
• Act as a liaison between plant-level staff and Subject Matter Expert (SME) communities (Process, Maintenance, Logistics) to ensure adherence to technical standards.
• Champion OEx policies, ensuring new projects are fully integrated into the standard operations environment.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project teams and leadership, facilitating gate approvals and resolving cross-departmental priority conflicts.
• Prepare regular status updates and reports for the Director of OEx, highlighting potential risks or budget variances.
• Manage small-to-medium project budgets, ensuring all procurement, expenditures, and timelines remain within approved limits.
• Ensure all project documentation (plans, notes, lessons learned) is accurately maintained in the central OEx library.
• Organize and lead project team meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals and responsibilities.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly within industrial settings focused on efficiency, quality, and safety enhancements.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

The role involves working in an industrial environment with specific physical demands:

• Exposure to fugitive dust, scale particles, metal filings, and various oils, solvents, lubricants, and coolants.
• Frequent movement between climate-controlled control rooms and the high temperatures of the shop floor.
• Ability to wear heavy Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators, for extended periods.
• Prolonged computer use, accounting for over 70% of work time.
• Working on potentially slippery floors.
• Manual handling of various tools, such as gauging tools.
• Visual acuity (corrected or uncorrected) sufficient to identify microscopic surface defects or thread galling.
