QC inspector Insulation Project

About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a QC Inspector Insulation Project to join their team in Al Jubayl, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves performing inspections and testing of thermal/mechanical insulation and cladding installation activities to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on insulation and cladding installation works.
• Verify insulation material, thickness, and installation methods against approved specifications.
• Witness moisture barrier, banding, and cladding installation checks as per the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
• Verify materials and batch certificates against approved specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client and third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily Quality Control (QC) reports.
• Verify the calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for insulation works.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and insulation standards.
• Support the preparation of quality documentation for insulation handover dossiers.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to perform inspection and testing of thermal/mechanical insulation and cladding installations.
• Proficiency in verifying compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Performance Metrics

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on the following indicators:

• Accuracy and completeness of inspections.
• Timely identification and reporting of non-conformances.
• First-time inspection pass rate on assigned work fronts.
• Adherence to inspection schedules and hold points.
• Quality of inspection documentation.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, focusing on project-specific insulation quality control.
