About the Opportunity

BICC is seeking a Waiter to join its team in Al Jubail. This full-time role is integral to a facility management catering contract, focusing on dining hall and F&B service within a camp and facility environment. The position involves serving a diverse international workforce and operates under BICC sponsorship, fully compliant with Saudi Labour Law.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to guests in the dining hall and designated service areas.
• Set, clear, and reset tables, maintaining standard table settings throughout service.
• Accurately take and deliver orders, including special requests.
• Perform tray and buffet service during peak meal periods.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of service areas, cutlery, crockery, and service stations.
• Assist with buffet replenishment and monitor food presentation during service.
• Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements on site.
• Handle guest requests and complaints politely, escalating issues to the supervisor when necessary.
• Support the dining hall supervisor with opening, closing, and daily service duties.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be physically fit for 12-hour duties, including prolonged standing, and will maintain a clean, presentable appearance with good personal hygiene. Immediate availability to join is required. A working knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is essential for this role.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a waiter, steward, or F&B service staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• Mandatory spoken English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and take orders. Applicants will undergo a phone test.
• Currently residing in Saudi Arabia with a valid, transferable Iqama (naqal kafala).
• Sponsor willing to release for transfer.
• Proven experience in camp catering, hotel, or large-volume dining operations.
• Demonstrated experience in buffet and tray service.
• Possession of a valid Baladi (municipality) health card.

This position is based in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, within a camp and facility environment. The role requires adherence to all site-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and Saudi Labour Law.
