About KBR, Inc. and the Role

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) delivers comprehensive solutions across the asset life cycle, encompassing licensed process technologies, advisory services, technical expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions for optimizing assets. KBR, Inc. is seeking a Fabricator I to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern region. This is a full-time position focused on organizing and executing piping fabrication activities.

Role Overview

The Fabricator I will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective execution of piping fabrication activities in accordance with plant requirements. This role involves hands-on fabrication, operation of specialized tools, and meticulous tracking of progress to support overall piping operations.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate required piping or layouts based on job instructions, drawings, material specifications, and technical references provided by the supervisor.
Set up, align, and operate heavy-duty specialized workshop tools for cutting, threading, and grooving various types of pipes and joints.
Organize necessary resources, including materials and equipment, for pipe fabrication tasks.
Ensure all pipe fabrication activities comply with quality specifications.
Execute fabrication jobs both at the designated site and in the field.
Monitor and track the progress of ongoing pipe fabrication jobs.
Log all progress related to pipe fabrication and report updates to the pipefitter supervisor.
Provide support in investigation jobs for the failure analysis of piping circuits.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in fabrication.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in Al Jubail, Eastern. The role requires executing tasks both within a workshop setting and in various field locations as needed.
