The Field Service Engineer Role

Alfa Laval's Field Service Operations Department in Al Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Field Service Engineer. This full-time position is for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The role involves providing field service support and contributing to the continued growth of operations in a significant industrial market.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first behavioral attitude, adhering to the Stop-Think-Act principle.
• Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, repair activities, audits, fault finding, and maintenance of products such as high-speed separators (HSS), decanters, and plate heat exchangers.
• Troubleshoot Electrical / PLC controls, including EPC controls, 2 touch, basic, and Plus controls, and train customer crews on Alfa Laval equipment.
• Provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services.
• Execute audits and maintenance activities related to Service Agreements.
• Prepare service reports, documenting every visit and minuting all observations, recommendations, and commitments with the customer.
• Adhere to all company safety (QHSE) policies, quality, and operational procedures.
• Effectively use Alfa Laval system tools, including OneService, Lead app, HSE Near miss app (MEA Aleart), E-Learning portal, Workday, and Sensei IB.
• Generate service business leads by utilizing the FSE Lead app.
• Report Near Miss incidents using the HSE digital platform (MEA Aleart).
• Ensure timely submission of service reports, expense reports, payroll information, and customer-signed timesheet service reports.
• Support Sales functions with technical solutions and participate in technical forums.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.

• Adaptable, independent, and robust, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment involving extensive travel and close collaboration with a dynamic regional team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Holds a valid driving license; preference will be given to candidates holding a Saudi Arabian or GCC driving license.
