Receiver Kitchen

About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a Receiver Kitchen to join its team in Jubail, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves managing the receipt, processing, and distribution of incoming merchandise and deliveries, ensuring accuracy and proper handling within the kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process deliveries, accounting for incoming merchandise according to invoices and receiving reports.
• Organize merchandise by department, indicate its location, and deliver it to the appropriate department.
• Verify and track received stock, maintaining accurate reports and records.
• Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports to ensure count accuracy.
• Receive, store, ship, and deliver departmental incoming and outgoing packages and mail.
• Secure the receiving room and its contents, ensuring the safekeeping of packages.

Operational and Safety Compliance

• Comply with all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Support co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect, contributing to common team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds ( Kg) without assistance.
• Capability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and steps.
• Capability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
• Related Work Experience: No related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None.
