The Role

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Cloud Network & Cloud Security Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position that requires relocation to Al Khobar. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and securing enterprise-grade cloud network infrastructures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and deploy secure, highly available, and scalable enterprise network topologies on GCP, utilizing cloud-native services such as VPCs, Cloud NAT, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud NGFW, and Network Connectivity Center.
• Define, implement, and audit stringent network security policies, deploying and managing cloud-native security services alongside enterprise third-party network and security appliances, including Palo Alto Firewalls & Panorama, Fortinet, and F5 appliances.
• Serve as the team's expert in Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate the provisioning, lifecycle management, and configuration of all network and security infrastructure.
• Standardize deployments by actively leveraging Google Fabric Fast and Google best practices tools to ensure structured, compliant, and repeatable landing zone architectures.
• Collaborate closely under the leadership of the Senior Cloud Architect to lead enterprise engagements and effectively communicate complex security and networking concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 7+ years of dedicated experience in cloud networking, security design, and enterprise-grade infrastructure implementation.
• Demonstrable success in migrating legacy, on-premise enterprise environments into secure GCP environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Mandatory Certifications

Candidates must hold both of the following active Google Cloud certifications:

• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Network Engineer
• Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer

Work Location

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Relocation to Al Khobar is a requirement for this role.
