Position Overview

Arabian Drilling Co. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance SME to join its talent pool in Al Khobar. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of electrical maintenance operations. The specialist will administer and optimize the maintenance management system (CMMS) to uphold technical integrity and quality across all planned maintenance tasks.

Core Responsibilities

The Electrical Maintenance SME will be responsible for a range of critical functions, including:

• Administering and optimizing the maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Overseeing the technical integrity and quality of planned maintenance tasks.
• Driving process improvements within electrical maintenance operations.
• Providing critical support for technical investigations and failure analysis.
• Evaluating changes and assessing their cost impact.
• Ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting of maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications and Education

Candidates must possess a strong educational background and relevant certifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Certification as a Certified Electrical Maintenance Technician (CEMT).

Experience and Technical Skills

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and specialized skills to the role:

• Over 12 years of experience in electrical maintenance.
• Proven experience as a field technician with maintenance equipment, such as a Chief Mechanic.
• Demonstrated experience in an electrical maintenance role within the drilling or a related heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of rig electrical systems and maintenance workflows.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Experience in reliability engineering and failure analysis.
• Familiarity with HSE standards and regulatory compliance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Al Khobar. The role involves working within a dynamic environment focused on maintaining high standards of electrical system performance and reliability for drilling operations.
