CoreTension is a specialized contractor focused on post-tension installation for building projects across Saudi Arabia. The company is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and maintain financial records.

The Role of Accountant

This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, and is open to Saudi nationals, both male and female. The Accountant will be responsible for executing daily accounting tasks, utilizing Odoo, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping to support both company and project-specific accounting needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily transactions and journal entries within the Odoo system.
• Prepare customer invoices, record supplier bills, and manage collections and payments.
• Track expenses, employee advances, petty cash, and project-related costs.
• Perform bank reconciliations and review account balances regularly.
• Maintain organized accounting records and coordinate effectively with project and site teams.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and assist with month-end closing procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi nationality is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in using Odoo for accounting operations.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and Saudi VAT and e-invoicing requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Availability to work on-site in Al Khobar.
• Experience in construction or project accounting is considered an advantage.

Work Environment

The Accountant will work in a full-time capacity, based at CoreTension's operations in Al Khobar. This role involves close coordination with various internal teams, including project and site personnel, to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
