Project Manager: Trade Finance Software Implementation

About the Role

Fenixys, an Aurionpro Company, is seeking a Project Manager: Trade Finance Software Implementation to lead the end-to-end delivery of an AI-Native Trade Finance solution. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, and involves coordinating stakeholders across banking clients, technology vendors, and implementation teams to ensure successful project deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project implementation, including planning, execution, monitoring, and go-live.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource allocation.
• Oversee project scope, timelines, risks, issues, and change requests.
• Coordinate requirements gathering, solution design, development, integration, testing, UAT, and production deployment.
• Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards, timelines, and contractual commitments.
• Act as the primary coordination point between the client, technology vendor, and other implementation partners.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee updates, and stakeholder workshops.
• Manage expectations across business, operations, IT, compliance, and management teams.
• Drive timely decision-making and issue resolution among multiple stakeholders.
• Maintain effective communications with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Coordinate integration activities involving core banking systems, Trade Finance platforms, payment systems, and other enterprise applications.
• Oversee implementation activities for AI-enabled workflows, automation, and digital banking capabilities.
• Ensure appropriate coordination of security, data privacy, regulatory, and technology governance requirements.
• Support deployment planning, operational readiness, training, and transition to business-as-usual operations.
• Coordinate system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
• Maintain project RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
• Manage change control, escalation processes, and implementation risks.
• Track project progress, prepare management reports, and ensure timely escalation of delivery challenges.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a delivery-oriented Project Manager with a strong understanding of banking environments and the ability to navigate complex bank-vendor relationships. This role requires a professional who has successfully delivered financial technology projects and is comfortable working with both traditional banking systems and emerging AI-native technologies.

Required Experience and Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in banking technology implementation.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end project delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Familiarity with the Middle East banking environment.
• Strong execution discipline.
• Experience delivering Trade Finance transformation projects is a significant advantage.
