About the Role

Zaramiz Company is seeking an experienced QC Mechanical Inspector to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves overseeing and verifying mechanical inspection and quality control activities across various project sites in Saudi Arabia, specifically in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The position requires a strong understanding of mechanical inspection procedures, quality documentation, and adherence to industry standards.

Role Context and Purpose

The QC Mechanical Inspector will ensure that all mechanical work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements, including Saudi Aramco standards. This role is critical for maintaining quality assurance throughout project execution, from material receiving to final inspection and turnover documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct inspections of mechanical equipment, installations, fabrication, and construction activities according to approved drawings, specifications, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project standards.
Perform various inspections including material receiving, fit-up, fabrication, installation, dimensional, and final inspections.
Review and verify Material Test Certificates (MTCs), inspection reports, test records, and other QA/QC documentation.
Ensure strict compliance with approved ITPs, method statements, specifications, and Saudi Aramco standards.
Coordinate inspection activities with construction teams, subcontractors, and client/third-party inspectors.
Raise and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), observations, and corrective actions, ensuring their timely closure.
Maintain comprehensive inspection records, checklists, reports, and quality documentation.
Participate in testing, pre-commissioning, and final inspection activities as required.
Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved quality and safety requirements.
Support the preparation of Turnover/Mechanical Completion dossiers and other project quality records.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as a QC Mechanical Inspector.
Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection procedures, ITPs, and QA/QC documentation.
Familiarity with applicable codes and standards relevant to mechanical inspection.
Demonstrated understanding of Saudi Aramco project requirements.

Work Environment

This is a contract position based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working across various project sites and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure quality standards are met.
