Role Overview

Yokogawa is seeking a Senior APC Engineer to be based in Al Khobar, Eastern, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the delivery of Advanced Process Control (APC) and optimization solutions for industrial customers. The engineer will participate in system deployment, engineering, testing, commissioning, and customer support, with the objective of developing into a lead APC engineer within the first year.

Key Responsibilities

• Report project progress and activities to management in a timely manner.
• Study and understand Advanced Solution software and hardware specifications.
• Install and configure Advanced Solution software and hardware systems.
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and support customer demonstrations.
• Perform site installation, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Develop APC engineering knowledge through project participation and self-learning.
• Execute projects in accordance with Yokogawa's project implementation standards and provide technical consultation.
• Build strong customer relationships to understand operational requirements and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Support sales and business development activities, including technical proposal preparation, presentations, and customer visits.
• Manage assigned tasks independently and proactively.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in process industries, plant operations, automation, or solution engineering.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following industries: Oil and gas, Refining, Chemical plants.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following technologies: Process Control Systems, Advanced Process Control (APC), Process Historians, DCS Advanced Control Applications.
• Experience with Yokogawa solutions, including EXA products, is considered an advantage.

Work Environment and Travel
