The Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage Role

The Assistant Manager Food & Beverage supports the Outlet Manager in overseeing the assigned outlet. This role is central to ensuring the outlet operates as a successful, independent profit center, adhering to established operating concepts and Hyatt International standards. The position focuses on achieving maximum guest satisfaction and contributing to the financial success of the outlet while managing operations within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Outlet Manager in the overall management of the assigned food and beverage outlet.
• Contribute to operating the outlet as a successful independent profit centre.
• Ensure all operations align with the outlet’s specific operating concept and Hyatt International standards.
• Work towards achieving maximum guest satisfaction.
• Manage outlet operations effectively within allocated budget parameters.
• Support initiatives to ensure the financial success of the outlet.

Qualifications and Experience

• A relevant degree, apprenticeship, or diploma in Hospitality or Restaurant Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Assistant Outlet Manager or Team Leader/Captain.
• Experience should be gained within a hotel environment or a large restaurant operating with good standards.

Operational Focus

This position requires a strong focus on operational efficiency and adherence to established guidelines. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in maintaining the high service quality expected by guests and ensuring that financial objectives are met through diligent budget management and strategic operational decisions.
