Cost Controller/Engineer

About the Role

HUDSON is seeking a Cost Controller/Engineer to join their team. This full-time, long-term position is based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, with potential placements in Dammam, Al Khobar, Dhahran, Al Jubail, Al-Ahsa, Al Qatif, Ras Tannurah, or Buqayq. The role requires strong experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a preference for candidates experienced in EPC and/or Shutdown & Turnaround (SD/TA) projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cost control and engineering functions within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industry.
• Contribute to project cost management, particularly within EPC and Shutdown & Turnaround (SD/TA) environments.
• Prepare and submit reports related to cost control activities.
• Communicate effectively in English regarding project status and financial data.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery industry.
• Strong experience in the Oil & Gas sector is required.
• Experience with EPC and/or Shutdown & Turnaround (SD/TA) projects is highly preferred.
• A relevant Mechanical Engineering qualification is essential.
• Candidates with prior experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region will be preferred.
• Demonstrated relevant experience matching the requirements of a Cost Controller/Engineer.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in English communication and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to cost control.
