Role Overview

Weatherford is seeking a Field Specialist I Production Solutions & Intervention Services to join its team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time, entry-level position is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience who will support the safe and efficient execution of Weatherford Production Solutions & Intervention Services operations at customer well sites. The role focuses on developing technical and operational competency through hands-on field experience, training, and close supervision from experienced Field Specialists and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of Production Solutions & Intervention Services jobs under supervision.
• Assist with checking, preparing, assembling, testing, and maintaining intervention tools and related equipment.
• Assist with running, operating, and retrieving downhole tools according to approved procedures.
• Support pre-job planning, equipment preparation, mobilization, and post-job activities.
• Assist senior Field Specialists with wellsite operations and troubleshooting equipment and operational issues.
• Assist with post-job inspection, cleaning, maintenance, and preparation of equipment for subsequent operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor within the physical requirements of the role.

Safety and Documentation

• Adhere to all Weatherford, client, and regulatory HSE requirements and actively participate in safety meetings and job risk assessments.
• Assist with equipment function testing and report any equipment defects or abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including job tickets, equipment records, job logs, utilization sheets, WPTS entries, and job reports.

Professional Development

• Develop knowledge of Weatherford Production Solutions & Intervention Services products, tools, procedures, and applications.
• Participate in technical and competency training programs to develop skills for progression to higher Field Specialist levels.
