About the Role

Starlinks is seeking a Manager, D365 F&O Functional to lead its D365 Finance & Operations consulting team. This role involves overseeing the ongoing evolution of the D365 architecture and serving as the primary liaison between the Finance function and both internal and outsourced technology resources. The Manager will ensure business requirements are translated into sound functional designs and that delivered solutions align with the long-term architecture roadmap. This full-time position is based onsite in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the Executive Director - Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the D365 F&O delivery team, overseeing workload distribution, quality of delivery, mentoring, and professional development.
• Own and develop the functional and technical architecture of the D365 F&O platform in line with business growth and evolving Finance requirements.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Finance department and internal and outsourced technology resources, gathering requirements, validating solution designs, and ensuring delivered work meets business and compliance needs.
• Configure and deliver basic-to-moderate functional enhancements within D365 F&O, such as workflows, security roles, financial dimensions, approval rules, and module configurations.
• Lead the implementation and ongoing management of budgeting and budget control functionality within D365 F&O, ensuring alignment with organizational financial planning and approval processes.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and translate them into D365 F&O functional requirements and roadmap items.
• Review and validate functional specifications, test plans, and change requests submitted by outsourced resources before implementation.
• Coordinate testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and go-live activities for enhancements and projects across Finance and Operations modules.
• Provide the Executive Director - Technology with regular updates on team performance, project status, architecture direction, and risks related to the D365 F&O environment.

Required Qualifications

• Over 10 years of hands-on experience as a D365 F&O (Finance & Operations) Functional Specialist or Functional Consultant.
• Proven experience leading or managing a functional/technical team within a D365 environment.
• Strong functional knowledge of core D365 F&O Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash and Bank Management.
• Demonstrated experience working with both internal teams and outsourced implementation partners or system integrators, managing delivery quality and accountability.
• Solid understanding of D365 F&O architecture, integrations, and configuration best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• D365 experience is mandatory for this role; experience limited to other ERP platforms will not be considered equivalent.

Essential Skills

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively between business (Finance) and technical (vendor) audiences.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to D365 HR/People-related capabilities or integrated workforce systems, such as recruitment, performance management, workforce management, and time & attendance.
• Prior involvement in D365 F&O implementation or upgrade projects, from requirements gathering through go-live.
• Experience defining or improving governance processes for managing outsourced delivery partners.
• Microsoft D365 F&O certifications are a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position requiring onsite work in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. Candidates must be willing and able to work from the Al Khobar office.
