About Attieh Trading and the Role

Attieh Trading is seeking a Head of Information Technology Department to lead its IT function. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role primarily focuses on the implementation, administration, support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O). Additionally, the Head of IT will oversee the Microsoft 365 environment, day-to-day server operations, IT security, and the corporate website.

Core Responsibilities

The Head of Information Technology Department will be responsible for a range of critical functions, including:

• Serving as the in-house owner and subject-matter expert for D365 F&O across all business functions (finance, supply chain, procurement, inventory, and reporting).
• Managing D365 F&O system configuration, user roles and security, workflows, and master data governance.
• Leading troubleshooting and resolution of functional and technical D365 F&O issues, coordinating with Microsoft and implementation partners as needed.
• Planning and overseeing D365 F&O updates, releases, testing (UAT), and deployment cycles with minimal business disruption.
• Supporting integrations between D365 F&O and other business systems, including data migration and interface monitoring.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ERP, and driving user adoption through training and documentation.
• Administering the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and user licensing.
• Managing user onboarding/offboarding, access rights, and group policies within M365, and resolving day-to-day M365 issues.
• Overseeing minor server operations, including monitoring and routine maintenance of cloud servers, and ensuring business continuity through reliable backup and recovery procedures.
• Monitoring and following up on IT security alerts, antivirus/endpoint protection, and access controls, ensuring timely application of security patches and updates.
• Maintaining and enforcing IT policies covering data protection, acceptable use, and password management.
• Maintaining the corporate website, ensuring content is current, functional, and secure, and coordinating with web hosting providers for updates and renewals.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this leadership role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of overall experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 6–8 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012 with D365 F&O migration experience).
• Proven experience leading at least one full-lifecycle D365 F&O implementation or major migration.
• Prior experience managing cross-functional teams, including functional, technical, and third-party vendors.
• Strong functional knowledge of core D365 modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, or Retail.
• Solid understanding of Azure integrations, Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Platform, and data migration frameworks (DIXF).

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires a leader who can manage vendors, users, and a small internal team effectively.
