About the Role

Libera Consultants is collaborating with a prominent organization in Saudi Arabia to appoint a Head of Information Technology. This full-time leadership position is based in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia and involves providing strategic technology direction to drive innovative, secure, and high-performing IT solutions across the business.

Role Context and Strategic Focus

The Head of Information Technology will assume ownership of a comprehensive technology portfolio within a complex industrial environment. This includes enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, IT infrastructure, operational technology (OT), cybersecurity frameworks, and various digital transformation initiatives. The role is central to shaping the future IT landscape and enabling operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term IT, ERP, and technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide executive leadership across IT operations, enterprise systems, infrastructure, and technology transformation initiatives.
• Lead the delivery of high-availability IT services to support critical business operations.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, servers, applications, and operational technology (OT) environments.
• Ensure resilient connectivity and technology support for remote and distributed locations.
• Drive innovation through emerging technologies, including cloud solutions, IoT, AI-driven analytics, and digital platforms.
• Lead ERP strategy, application roadmaps, and business systems optimization across core functions.
• Manage enterprise applications and strategic technology partnerships, including major software vendors such as SAP and Oracle.
• Establish robust cybersecurity, governance, data management, and business continuity practices.
• Oversee Disaster Recovery planning, system resilience, and technology risk management.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess over 10 years of experience in information technology leadership. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in strategic technology management, including expertise in ERP systems, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and driving digital transformation within complex industrial settings.
