About the Role

Capgemini Engineering is seeking a Microwave Field Implementation Manager to oversee microwave rollout activities. This contract position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern region, KSA, and involves taking ownership of deployment projects across an assigned region.

Role Summary

The Microwave Field Implementation Manager will be responsible for the deployment, installation, testing, and commissioning of microwave backhaul links. This role serves as the central point of coordination between vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders, ensuring day-to-day execution, site readiness, acceptance activities, and consistent delivery quality and compliance throughout the rollout lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee day-to-day microwave rollout execution, taking ownership of delivery progress and ensuring all site activities align with programme timelines and quality standards.
Coordinate vendors, field teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient delivery across all rollout phases, managing dependencies, resolving obstacles, and maintaining clear communication.
Ensure all site readiness, installation, integration, testing, and acceptance activities are completed on time and to required technical and quality standards, acting as the primary delivery authority for field implementation.
Track and report on rollout progress, risks, issues, and milestones, producing regular status reports for programme leadership and customer stakeholders, and driving timely issue resolution.
Ensure full adherence to technical standards, quality benchmarks, and safety requirements throughout all field implementation activities, fostering compliance and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications and Experience

12+ years of experience in microwave rollout implementation and regional delivery coordination, with a proven track record of managing large-scale field deployment programmes across multiple concurrent sites in multi-vendor environments.
Demonstrable experience in site readiness, installation, integration, testing, and acceptance activities within microwave or transport network rollout programmes, with a thorough understanding of the end-to-end field implementation lifecycle.
Proven vendor management and field team coordination skills, including extensive experience working with implementation partners, subcontractors, and field deployment teams to drive performance and resolve escalations.
Excellent progress tracking, risk management, and reporting capabilities, with experience producing clear programme status reports, milestone trackers, and risk/issue logs for senior stakeholders.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, customers, and senior leadership in fast-paced delivery environments in KSA or the wider Middle East region.
