Planner

About the Role

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a Planner to join their team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This is a full-time position for professionals with 2-5 years of experience. The Planner will be responsible for supporting schedule development, monitoring progress, and reporting for assigned disciplines within ABICON's scope of work, ensuring accurate and timely schedule updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and verify progress data from site supervisors and foremen.
• Update assigned discipline schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and productivity tracking sheets.
• Support the preparation of look-ahead schedules for site execution.
• Assist in progress measurement and quantity tracking against baseline.
• Identify and report schedule deviations to the Lead Planner.
• Support the preparation of progress curves and histograms.
• Coordinate with site supervision to validate reported progress.
• Maintain planning records and documentation.
• Support manpower and equipment histograms for the assigned scope.
• Assist in preparing input for client progress reports.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 3+ years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling roles, preferably within a similar industry or project environment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is required.
• Strong analytical skills for progress measurement and deviation identification.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and tracking sheets.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The role involves coordination with site supervisors and foremen, requiring a collaborative approach to data collection and progress validation.
