About the Role

Duruper is seeking a qualified QC Welding Inspector for a full-time position in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and compliance of welding activities according to industry standards.

Role Overview

The QC Welding Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough welding inspections to guarantee adherence to Aramco standards, approved welding procedures, and relevant international codes. The position requires a strong understanding of welding certifications and NDT Level II qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive welding inspections.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and PQR (Procedure Qualification Record) documentation.
• Coordinate and review Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities.
• Ensure all welding activities comply with Aramco CBT (Competency Based Training) requirements.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in welding inspection.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Mandatory Aramco Approval, including a valid SAP Number and CBT qualification.
• Possession of AWS (American Welding Society) or CSWIP (Certification Scheme for Welding Inspection Personnel) certification is mandatory.
• Level II certification in RT (Radiographic Testing), UT (Ultrasonic Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing), and PT (Penetrant Testing) is required.
