Wood is seeking a TPE V/ Principal Civil Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is focused on the technical delivery of engineering work within a specific discipline.

Role Overview

The TPE V/ Principal Civil Engineer will contribute to the technical delivery of engineering projects by executing assigned scopes of work within a specific engineering discipline. This role involves supporting the development of key engineering deliverables and performing defined tasks under guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the technical delivery of engineering excellence by executing assigned scopes of work within a specific engineering discipline.
• Assist in the development of engineering deliverables, including philosophies, reports, specifications, calculations, data sheets, and technical requisitions.
• Perform limited assignments of specific engineering tasks, such as contributing to a minor phase of a larger project.
• Focus on documentation, monitoring, and carrying out basic calculations.
• Apply academic knowledge to job responsibilities under close supervision from experienced technical professionals.
• Execute routine aspects of engineering assignments, applying knowledge of basic engineering standards and prescribed standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Collaborate with experienced technical professionals on non-routine aspects of engineering assignments.
• Solve routine problems within clearly defined procedures, with ready access to support and guidance.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Possession of academic knowledge applicable to civil engineering responsibilities.
• Understanding and application of basic engineering standards, prescribed standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.

Work Environment and Support

This full-time role is based in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The engineer will operate under the close supervision of more experienced technical professionals and will have ready access to support and guidance for routine problem-solving. Collaboration with experienced technical professionals is a key aspect of non-routine assignments.
