About the Manufacturing Improvement Manager Role

Almarai is seeking a Manufacturing Improvement Manager to join its team in Al-Kharj. This full-time position is integral to driving operational efficiency and fostering continuous improvement across manufacturing processes within a multinational environment.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Improvement Manager will be responsible for initiating, identifying, managing, and following up on all manufacturing improvements. These improvements will be triggered by operational efficiency and performance metrics, customer feedback, and non-compliance issues. A proactive approach to operations is essential, alongside the training and coaching of site teams in continuous improvement tools. The role involves selecting and deploying appropriate methodologies to achieve key business results, measured by 'SQCDSM' KPIs.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Dairy/Food Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field such as ** Engineering/Business/Biotechnology / Chemistry / Administration. A minimum of 7 to 8 years of relevant experience within the Food and/or Dairy Industry is required. Familiarity with quality and improvement frameworks including ISO 9001-2000, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP, Continuous Improvement, TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies is necessary. A strong understanding of Industrial Engineering principles is also a key requirement for this position.
