About the Opportunity

Eram Talent is seeking a Functional Analyst - SAP IS-Oil (PM) to join their team. This contract position is based in Al Khafji, Eastern Region, and focuses on supporting SAP solutions within the Oil & Gas domain. The role requires a professional who can act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Role Purpose

The Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of SAP solutions, specifically within the SAP IS-Oil and SAP PM modules. This position ensures that business requirements are effectively translated into functional SAP solutions and integrated seamlessly within the existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement gathering sessions with business users to understand operational needs and translate them into functional specifications.
• Analyze business processes and map them to SAP IS-Oil and SAP PM functionalities.
• Lead and support the implementation of SAP IS-Oil solutions, ensuring proper integration with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Provide post go-live support, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system enhancements.
• Handle day-to-day user queries and system-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications (FS documents) and collaborate with technical teams to develop and deliver customized solutions.
• Conduct end-user training sessions for different business roles to ensure effective system utilization.
• Mentor and train junior consultants, enhancing team capability in SAP IS-Oil.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across modules such as MM, SD, and FI/CO.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in SAP IS-Oil and SAP PM. A strong understanding of business processes within the Oil & Gas domain is essential, along with demonstrated ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and implement SAP solutions effectively.
